A large, ornate room with rich wood panelling and a long counter.
The Official Guidebook tells you the exit leads to Main Street,
but to the side you see a door marked "Cast Members Only." The
friendly guide behind the counter tells you that if you need help,
just look for answers in the FDCMuck [FAQ] Room or type '911'
to get help from a real, live player.

You hear the Cat's theme from Peter and the Wolf. That can mean only one
thing... Fleebo is playing her clarinet.

A deliveryperson pulls up, drops a package in your lap, and speeds off. You
excitedly rip it open and find that someone has sent you...DUCK!
Shani hmms, "Easy question first...What am I majoring in...Civil Engineering
and something called Information and Decision Systems, which has to deal with
COmputers and designing Desision support systems/database systems
Shani asks, "And why did choose it? I applied to like 9 schools. I wanted a
school that was known for my major and I wanted a school that was in a city. I
was debating between Architecture and CivE at the time, and they also had both
majors, so I could decide when I got there"
AbisMal coulda changed into an CIS (Comp Info Sys) major, but was too far along
in CS (Comp Sci) to turn back.
Shani also wanted a school that was driving distance from home, and it is...7
hours though
Shani smiles, "I'm stuck there for 5 yerars cuase I decided on IDS so late

Shani says, "I met him online, the first time I ever mucked on TLKMuck. I
tlaked to him and FDC Mufasa and became friends with them both. That was in
October 1995. I met Ngeran IRL in January at FDC Mufasa and Scar's apartment in
Baltimore. Ngeran came to visit and I drove down there and spent the weekend"

A wonderful sparkle catches your eye, and you look over towards Shani
to see what it could be. Looking her over, you notice the sparkle once
more from her hand. On her left ring finger, you see a delicate, silver
band. Shani notices you looking at it, then smiles and holds out her
hand so you can get a closer look at it. As you look closer, you see
that it is a very beautiful ring. The silver band around her finger
is thin and not too wide, leaving the piece looking very nearly fragile.
The band gets thicker around the top of the finger, and inlaid into the
ring at this point is a beautiful, crystal clear and sharply cut diamond.
It is this that created the sparkle and caught your eye. But the diamond
is not the only gemstone on this ring. Sitting slightly raised around
the diamond, so that they lie even along a flat surface, are two deep
blue sapphires. They give a darker sparkle when they are turned to the
light, and give the ring a very beautiful appearance. You guess,
correctly, that this is the ring Ngeran gave to Shani in hopes that she
might join him in the state of matrimony.

to plan awedding-OOCly)
Fleebo mews, "Were? Does that mean that you're not anymore? :)"
Shani nods, "Definitly. I was *really* blond when I was younger...It tends to
get darker as I get older though
Shani says, "I'm still engaged...Just not actually going throught with the
ceremony yet"
Shani says, "I'll oocly have more time next semester. I'm taking it off of
college"
Darkwing quacks, "Baloo:  Which do you prefer, NJ or PA.. and why?"

Shani hmms, NJ...definitly. I live in the middle of the country (We have 10
acres), but I only live 1 hour to NY, 1 hour to Philladelphia, 1 hour to the
beach...3 1/2 hours to DC, but I have the benifits of living in a really small
town. Pittsburgh also rains a lot. NY has *a lot* more going on too, than
Pittsburgh, and I miss all the fun plays, etc. Pittsburgh is actually trying to
improve though

be awesome and unlike anything I've ever seen. Other countries would be neat,
but not as neat as Africa. I've been to Cancun, Mexico and the caribean, so I

Duck notices that Shani's not eating her Tim Tams. "If you're not having those,

Fleebo grins... yes, everyone I know who's been to Africa misses it desperately
and wants to go back there.

and I love the artwork of the movie.  I thought the story was good, too, but
I've nvever read Hugo's novel.

character in the book, not a deperate man, as portayed in the movie"

Phillip says, "i think Polish fest is this weekend or next, not sure"
Morgana went last year and *loved* it... but the Japanese and Chinese cultures
are something that fascinate me anyway.

Grimsby asks, "is there a Non-Ethnic Identifying Americanized Caucasian

Morgana says, "Remind me of that one, too, then, Phillip... gotta make sure I
make it to that this year.  Asian Moon was the only one I went to all summer.

Phillip says, "and Bastille days is not where the others are held, but they
close of 4 square blocks downtown for a four day weekend"
Morgana thinks that would just be the Generic SummerFest. :)

ethnic group simply because I can manage not to"
Morgana nods.  But it's the 4 blocks right around the mall (Can't remember the
name of it) and they have a big parade.  The mall closed so that everyone could
go watch the parade.

Phillip says, "summerfest is lots of beer, lots of music, lots of bands, and
every day is a major perfrormer...i don't know this years line up...but it is
on the lakefront...really cool. if you ever come to milwaukee, that is the week
to come. :)"

Grimsby says, "the best crowd to see a Disney animated feature with is the late
show at the ElCapitan in hollywood, because its all college students and
industry people, none of the people who believe their 2 year olds will get
anything out of a movie will take them into hollywood"

Grimsby says, "and the audience is intelligent and well versed in film and
actually gets all the jokes and you dont' get the families explaining plot
points to each other causign a dull buzz through the whole thing"
Belle has arrived.
....You hear a rustling in the air that wasn't there before... suddenly, Belle
arrives... She smiles, and curtsies to you...

Grimsby says, "went to see fifth element in hollywood and everyone loved and
got it, but then I went in orange county and everyone around me was askign each
other questions and lookign confused and bored"

accompanied my visit to fifth element...yeah."
Grimsby says, "so I've become a movie theatre snob :) theres a short list of
theatres I will attend"

Monica, so I'm all over the place"

Belle says, "I work for one of my professors as a research assistant."
Quackerjack Quackerjack revs up his Gas-Powered Pogo Stick noisily and it
launches him over the horizon and out of sight.

Belle asks, "Are you still in school?"
Grimsby says, "no, I graduated from USC a month ago"
Grimsby says, "I suppose I might go back for grad classes btu only part time"
Belle says, "that's neat... :)  I'm a sophmore going on junior year in my EE
degree."
Pongo says, "Yeah, corey's gotta work for his disney money now :)"
Grimsby asks, "where at?"
Belle says, "at CSULA."
Grimsby says, "ah, ok"
Grimsby asks, "never been to that place, is it nice?"
Darkwing probably wouldn't mind going to grad school, but needs to make money,
not spend it :)
Grimsby says, "well, I got plenty of money now :)"
Grimsby says, "for a while at least :)"
Belle says, "Well, its under major construction right now, so it kinda looks
ugly. But the engineering school is great.  We are ranked higher than
CalPolyPomona, and renovating our EE labs with a $25 million dollar project, so
it should get even better."
Belle says, "I am going to grad school... my professor already told me so...

Grimsby says, "well, at least apply for jobs though too, EE is very lucrative
at the moment"
Belle says, "I know.. my research is funded by HP, and the last person who
graduated from my research group just got hired for $70grand a year starting."
Belle says, "I can live with that. :)"
Grimsby says, "I don't know about other schools but no one who graduated with
EE from SC didnt' get at least one job offer, some got 7 or more, and the
average for a BS was 45K"
Pongo says, "Good, next time i get to SoCal, you ban buy me dinner at the blue
bayou :)"
Belle laughs.  "Hey, I'm still a poor student... Grimsby is buying!
Grimsby says, "ok :) I got to go to DL a few times to use my free parking now
that I got the car"
Belle exclaims, "I have an annual pass, and haven't been able to go for 4 mos.
now!"
Grimsby says, "I realised I can drive there in 15 minutes and get in completely
free until august, so I guess I should :)"
Pongo says, "Wheee :)"
Pongo asks, "You not gonna renew?"
Grimsby says, "I doubt it"

Grimsby says, "I am a little sick fo the place, cant see myself goign more then
3 times a year max"

up to support our members."

Belle says, "Well, they did steal scenes from King Kong for JP Lost World"
Grimsby says, "no, they parodied scenes, its different to make a parody or ...
well, they did some short homage type things, but they didn't just reuse for
the sake of reusing"
