Queen/patroness.  He then awaits permission to rise.
Aquata nods permission to Abis with a smile.

since apparently Disnut can not make it."

Aquata says, "Paperwork. Lots and lots of paperwork. Modern government couldn't
function without red tape, you know. :>"
Ariel asks, "Do you have anyone to help you with it?"
AbisMal says, "Ah, most Atlantican politicians are wet behind the ear
anyway..."
AbisMal groans at his own pun...
Aquata says, "I have an entire bureaucratic staff of seahorses in little pastel
muffs. I'm not sure why they insist on the muffs, but for some reason they work
better with them on."
Ariel ignores the punster.
Si exclaims, "Government? Red tape? never! :P"
Aquata grins and figured you'd know ALL about red tape, Mme President. :>
Si smiles innocently.
Sassy enquires, "Princess Ariel has another question, which is, "Is there
anyone 'special' in your life (IC or OOC)?""
Aquata says, "ICly, there hasn't been anyone since...er..."
Aquata blushes. "Since my unfortunate dalliance with a certain French hunter
who shall remain nameless."
AbisMal opens his mouth...then closes it, not saying a word.
Ariel nods . .
Aquata says, "OOCly, I have a boyfriend who's a graduate student in
Philadelphia. We've been together for 6 years now."
Sassy grins.
Ariel says, "That's impressive."
AbisMal grins.
Ariel asks, "And no plans to take it any further just yet?"
Aquata says, "Well, we do plan to get married, but since we're both in graduate
school it's not in the near future."
AbisMal grins even wider.  "Congrats."
Aquata says, "The earliest would be 3 years from now when he finishes his PhD."
Aquata says, "Thank you, Abis."
Duck says, "Well, at least you have something incredibly wonderful to look
forward to. :)"
Aquata grins at Duckums. Also incredibly expensive. :>
Duck says, "So make it a small wedding. Or elope. ;)"
AbisMal asks, "How'd YOU know, Duckster?  You've only ATTENDED weddings. :)"
Si huhs? "You mean grad students aren't rich? And don't they have tons of free

granddaughter."

Aquata ahs. "Well, the company's still around, but our marketing surveys showed
a lull in interest. I'd be perfectly willing to do another album, but we'd have
to get a new composer since Sebastian's got other things on his mind. :>
Duck asks, "Aquata, who was on the duets album? I seem to remember singing one
duet with you."
AbisMal says, "Hmmm...maybe you'd be interested in signing the Street Rats to a
contract."
Ariel unveils her new song, "These Thingamajiggers were made for . .what's that
word again?  walkin'"
Aquata doesn't recall all of the tracks, Duckie. I'm sure it's in the archives,
but the only one I can remember off the top of my head is "Don't Let the Sun Go
Down on Me" with Ursula and Ariel.
Aquata grins at sis.
AbisMal is checking the archives right now...

Aquata says, "Abis, if you want to come in for an audition we'll see about a
possible contract."
AbisMal says, "Yeah,...our current contract with Getsastan Records will end
with the next album..."

A large, ornate room with rich wood panelling and a long counter.
